No Pub Trivia August 13
On August 13, we’ll be away, so we will not be hosting trivia at The Pub. We’ll be back with general trivia on August 20, and 90s trivia on August 27.
On August 13, we’ll be away, so we will not be hosting trivia at The Pub. We’ll be back with general trivia on August 20, and 90s trivia on August 27.
Dividing Creek Beer Company will be hosting a number of TV-related trivia events throughout the rest of July and all of August. They’ll be hosting trivia about “Sex and the City“, “Schitt’s Creek” and “How I Met Your Mother“, so if you watch a lot of TV, or you’re a fan of any or all of those shows, make sure you check them out.
Starting in July, once we’ve reached our 1-year anniversary of hosting trivia at The Pub, we will begin introducing new themed trivia events once a month there. Starting on July 16, 2025, we’ll be hosting an 80s night at The Pub. All of the trivia questions and clue songs will related to the decade of excess, and we’ll be giving out extra points to teams that dress like they would have 40 years ago. More themes will be announced as we move through the rest of the year.
If you haven’t already, make sure you check out one of the upcoming trivia events that Nate will be hosting at Dividing Creek Beer Co and Winchester Brew Works. Some of his upcoming trivia events include Gilmore Girls trivia and Seinfeld Trivia, General 80s Trivia and General 2000s (2000-2009) Trivia. Nate’s themed trivia events are always challenging and fun. Be sure to check them out this summer.
Although trivia at Vibrissa began in November 2023, we didn’t start hosting until May of last year. Last Wednesday, May 14, was the one-year anniversary of the first game we hosted at Vibrissa in Winchester. Tonight, May 20, 2025, we will be celebrating that anniversary by asking questions that we’ve already asked once before over the past year.
One question will be from the very first game hosted at Vibrissa (before we took over as hosts), and one will be the standard “on this day”, but all of the rest of the questions, including halftime and the final, will be repeats from our time as hosts over the past year.
Come out and join us at 6:30 tonight for a fun look back at the past year of trivia. We hope to see you there.
On May 16, for 3rd Friday Trivia, we will be putting on a taco fiesta as our monthly feast. Come join us for all-you-can-eat tacos (beef and chicken), all the fixin’s, some sides and desserts. After you stuff your face with tacos, we’ll have a fun round of trivia.
Are you looking for something to do to get out of downtown during the Apple Blossom grand feature parade? Want to hang out with some good folks and watch the Kentucky Derby on a large projection screen? Just want some good food?
We’ll be hosting a Kentucky Derby potluck all afternoon in Fellowship Hall at Bethel Lutheran Church. Prepare and bring your favorite side. We’ll provide the main course, drinks and dessert.
Who knows; we may even throw in some horse racing-related trivia while we’re hanging out.
On May 1, there will be no trivia at 50/50 Taphouse. We’ll be back the next week with a new game. We hope you enjoy the night off, and we look forward to seeing you again when we return.
Due to the fact that the 3rd Friday in April this year is also Good Friday, we will not be having our 3rd Friday Trivia event this month.
If you’re interested, you can join us for our Kentucky Derby Party on May 3. Otherwise, we’ll see you back at our regular trivia event on May 16. We hope everyone has a great Easter.
Coming in March, we will be doing our first “Chili Cookoff” at 3rd Friday Trivia.
If you’ve got what you think is an award-winning chili recipe, and you want to share it, enter our chili cookoff to see how it stacks up against everyone else’s chili.
It will cost $10 for each entry (up to 2 entries per person) to submit your chili for judging. The winner of the chili cookoff will get to take home half of the entry fees.
