Halloween Week

This year, Halloween falls on a Friday, so we are planning to make the most of the whole week.

  • Monday, Nate will be hosting Tim Burton Film Trivia at Winchester Brew Works.
  • Tuesday, Curtiss will be hosting “Monsters, Legends and Cryptids, Oh My!” trivia at Vibrissa
  • Wednesday, Nate will be hosting Psycho Cinema Horror Film trivia at Dividing Creek Beer Co, and Curtiss will be hosting general trivia at The Pub (with Horror Movie Trivia the week before, on Oct. 22)
  • Thursday, Eric will be hosting Halloween trivia at 50/50

Then, we’ll cap off the week with a Costume Dance Party at Vibrissa on Halloween night. We hope to see you there at all of these events.

Halloween Is Coming

Less than two months from now, it will be Halloween. As we get nearer to many folks’ favorite holiday, we’ll be hosting various trivia events focusing on spooky themes. Keep your eyes on the schedules to see what themes we’ll be putting together, and make sure you don’t go alone when you come out to play.

September Is Back to School Month

On September 11, Eric will be hosting a special “Back to School” trivia at 50/50. Then, on September 24, Curtiss will be running an “Are You Smarter Than an Elementary Schooler” trivia at The Pub.

Come see what you remember from your school years and whether or not any of it is useful at trivia.

We Love the 90s

On Wednesday, Aug. 27, we’ll be hosting a special 90s Trivia at The Pub. Come play with us and see what you remember about that decade. We’ll be awarding bonus points to teams that come dressed in a fashion that is obviously pulled from the 90s.

Trivia starts at 7 p.m. They serve breakfast all night long; they have Happy Hour specials until 7; and they always have buckets of beer for less than $15.

  • Tuesday: Vibrissa Winchester – 6:30 – General Trivia
  • Wednesday: The Pub – 7:00 – General Trivia
  • Wednesday: Dividing Creek Beer Co – 7:30 – How I Met Your Mother
  • Thursday: 50/50 Taphouse – 8:30 – General Trivia
  • Friday: Bethel Lutheran Church – 7:00 – General Trivia

Then, on Monday, Nate will be hosting Marvel Cinematic Universe trivia at Winchester Brew Works. That starts at 6:30.

Dog Days of Summer

Vibrissa Beer will be doing a special week-long event for the Dog Days of Summer during the week of August 11-15. As part of that, trivia on Tuesday night will be pet-related. Come out on Tuesday, Aug. 12 at 6:30 to see what you know about pets and pet-related minutiae.

No Pub Trivia August 13

On August 13, we’ll be away, so we will not be hosting trivia at The Pub. We’ll be back with general trivia on August 20, and 90s trivia on August 27.

Themed Trivia Coming to The Pub

Starting in July, once we’ve reached our 1-year anniversary of hosting trivia at The Pub, we will begin introducing new themed trivia events once a month there. Starting on July 16, 2025, we’ll be hosting an 80s night at The Pub. All of the trivia questions and clue songs will related to the decade of excess, and we’ll be giving out extra points to teams that dress like they would have 40 years ago. More themes will be announced as we move through the rest of the year.
