Trivia events happening in & around Winchester, Virginia
Less than two months from now, it will be Halloween. As we get nearer to many folks’ favorite holiday, we’ll be hosting various trivia events focusing on spooky themes. Keep your eyes on the schedules to see what themes we’ll be putting together, and make sure you don’t go alone when you come out to play.
On September 11, Eric will be hosting a special “Back to School” trivia at 50/50. Then, on September 24, Curtiss will be running an “Are You Smarter Than an Elementary Schooler” trivia at The Pub.
Come see what you remember from your school years and whether or not any of it is useful at trivia.
On Wednesday, Aug. 27, we’ll be hosting a special 90s Trivia at The Pub. Come play with us and see what you remember about that decade. We’ll be awarding bonus points to teams that come dressed in a fashion that is obviously pulled from the 90s.
Trivia starts at 7 p.m. They serve breakfast all night long; they have Happy Hour specials until 7; and they always have buckets of beer for less than $15.
On August 13, we’ll be away, so we will not be hosting trivia at The Pub. We’ll be back with general trivia on August 20, and 90s trivia on August 27.
Starting in July, once we’ve reached our 1-year anniversary of hosting trivia at The Pub, we will begin introducing new themed trivia events once a month there. Starting on July 16, 2025, we’ll be hosting an 80s night at The Pub. All of the trivia questions and clue songs will related to the decade of excess, and we’ll be giving out extra points to teams that dress like they would have 40 years ago. More themes will be announced as we move through the rest of the year.

Congratulations to “Satchel of Richards” on their victory at The Pub tonight. They beat out some very stiff competition to claim the crown for the week.
On December 30, Nate will be hosting his “last Monday” trivia at Winchester Brew Works. On New Year’s Day, I will be hosting trivia at The Pub. The next day (January 2), Eric will be hosting trivia at 50/50.
All 3 of these trucks events will have a special “Year In Review” theme, asking questions about all sorts of things that happened throughout 2024. Were you paying attention this year? Come put that to the test at any or all of these trivia nights.
Congratulations to “Your Mom’s Holly is Jolly” on reclaiming their spot at the top of the Pub Trivia tonight. They had some stiff competition, but were able to squeak out a victory.
We hope to see you all again next week when we might crown a new champ!
